Q: How to program using a scan tool pass-through connection?
A:
First, you need to connect the scan tool to the vehicle and power it up, connect the computer station to the scan tool, and select °PC Using Scan Tool Connection° from the programming menu on the computer station. Then, please follow the menu select items for reprogramming, and provide information as to what type of device you are programming and whether you are reprogramming or replacing the electronic control unit (ECU). Finally, you should select °vehicle° from the selection menu, select the module you wish to program, select °Normal° for Programming Type, select the applicable software calibrations, and transfer the data file to the scan tool.
