Q: How to remove the Power Vacuum Brake Booster?
A:
First, you need to apply the park brake lever, apply and release the brake pedal several times until the pedal becomes firm to deplete the power vacuum brake booster vacuum reserve, disconnect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector, and remove the master cylinder nuts. Then, please separate the master cylinder from the power vacuum brake booster, position the master cylinder aside and support it with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent in an upright position, remove the master cylinder O-ring seal, and disconnect the vacuum brake booster and check valve assembly from the power vacuum brake booster. Finally, you should remove the stop lamp switch, the power vacuum brake booster nuts, and the power vacuum brake booster.
