Q: How do you remove the Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly?
A:
You need to remove the transmission fluid filter and auxiliary fluid pump filter, the transmission electrical connector passage sleeve, the transmission wiring harness from the wire harness retainer, and the transmission wiring harness connector from the wire harness retainer, disconnect the transmission wiring harness from the control solenoid valve body and remove the control solenoid valve heat sink bolts from the control solenoid valve and transmission control module (TCM) assembly, the wire harness retainer, the control valve body bolts from the control solenoid valve and TCM assembly, the control solenoid valve and TCM assembly, the control valve channel plate spacer plate gasket and the transmission wiring harness assembly.

Q: How do you install the Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly?
A:
You need to install the control valve channel plate spacer plate gasket, and the transmission wiring harness assembly. Install the control solenoid valve and TCM assembly, the control valve body bolts, the wire harness retainer, and the control solenoid valve heat sink bolts, torque the bolts following the specified sequence, and connect the transmission wiring harness to the control solenoid valve body. Then you can install the transmission wiring harness connector to the wire harness retainer, the transmission wiring harness to the wire harness retainer, the transmission electrical connector passage sleeve, and the transmission fluid filter and auxiliary fluid pump filter.
