Q: What should be noticed when replacing the Park Brake Shoe and Lining?
A:
You need to turn the park brake shoe adjuster screw until it is fully retracted. When removing or installing the park brake shoe, place the open end of the park brake shoe over the axle flange and rotate it until the shoe has cleared the flange. When installing the park brake shoe, apply a small amount of brake lubricant to the brake shoe and the backing plate contact points. Then you can adjust the park brake shoe.
