Q: How do you install the Engine Control Module?
A:
You need to set the bottom of the ECM into the ECM bracket tab, push the ECM in securing the ECM to the bracket, position the engine wiring harness electrical connectors and engage the retainers securing the connectors to the ECM and connect the negative battery cable. If a new ECM was installed, program the ECM.

Q: How do you remove the Engine Control Module?
A:
You need to use a scan tool, retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil, record the remaining engine oil life, disconnect the negative battery cable, disengage the engine wiring harness electrical connector retainers and remove the connectors from the ECM and the bracket retainer tabs securing the ECM to the bracket and remove the ECM from the bracket.
