FAQ for Air Suspension Compressor Repair

Q: How do you remove the Air Compressor?
A:
Before removing the air tubes, you need to turn the ignition On, with the engine OFF, and install a scan tool. With the scan tool, exhaust the air from the system for at least 60 seconds. Then you can disconnect the air tube from the air dryer and the electrical connection, remove the air inlet and hose from the fuel filler neck bracket, loosen the mounting nuts, slide the air compressor rearward to clear the frame slots, and remove the air compressor from the vehicle.
