Q: How do you install the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor?
A:
You need to position the accelerator pedal to the accelerator pedal bracket, install the accelerator pedal bolts, connect the APP sensor electrical connector and a scan tool to the diagnostic port and operate the accelerator pedal and monitor the throttle angles. The accelerator pedal should operate freely, without binding, between a closed throttle, and a wide open throttle (WOT). Then you can install the knee bolster.

You need to install the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster position sensor and the adjustable pedal position sensor bolts, connect the adjustable pedal position sensor jumper harness electrical connector and install the driver knee bolster.

A:
You need to turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, remove the driver knee bolster, disconnect the adjustable pedal position sensor jumper harness electrical connector and remove the adjustable pedal position sensor bolts and the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster position sensor.
