FAQ for Axle Shaft Repair
Q: What should be noticed when replacing Rear Axle Shaft?
A:
You should remove the C-lock from the button end of the axle shaft. When removing the axle shaft, you can not rotate the shaft. Rotating the shaft will misalign the gears. Misaligning the gears will make the installation of the axle shaft difficult. You should remove the axle shaft from the housing, and perform the following step if the axle shaft is hard to remove, using the J 2619-01-slide hammer and the J 45859-remover/installer to remove the axle shaft from the housing.
