You should remove the knee bolster, push down the small tab and disconnect the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor electrical connector, remove the accelerator pedal bolts and remove the accelerator pedal.

01/11/2022Q: How do I install the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor?
A:
You should position the accelerator pedal to the accelerator pedal bracket, install the accelerator pedal bolts and tighten to 9 Nm(80 lb in), connect the APP sensor electrical connector, connect a scan tool to the diagnostic port, operate the accelerator pedal and monitor the throttle angles, verify that the vehicle meets the following conditions: the vehicle is not in a reduced engine power mode, ignition is ON and the engine is off and install the knee bolster.
