You should install the shift lock control actuator onto the steering column jacket and the cable shift cam, connect the electrical connector, adjust the shift lock control actuator, inspect the shift lock control actuator, install the knee bolster and then enable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system.

You should remove the knee bolster, disconnect the electrical connector and then remove the shift lock control actuator.

You should remove the oil pan and transmission internal oil filter, disconnect the internal wiring harness from the solenoid being changed, remove the 2 bolts that fasten the reverse signal pipe to the control valve assembly, remove the reverse signal pipe, remove the pressure control solenoid 1 (PCS1) or PCS2, remove three bolts and the pressure control valve retaining bracket and then remove accumulators and springs.

You should install the 2 accumulators and springs, the pressure control valve retaining bracket, the 3 bolts, the reverse signal pipe, the 2 bolts that fasten the reverse signal pipe to the control valve assembly, the oil pan, and the transmission internal oil filter.
