Q: How to service the Windshield Outside Moisture Sensor?
A:
You should disengage the two metal retaining clips from the mounting bracket on the windshield, remove the entire sensor from the windshield, clean the area of the windshield that contacts the windshield moisture sensor lens with a 5-/50 mixture of isopropyl, remove the plastic protective covering from the lens of the new sensor, place and install the moisture sensor back onto the windshield bracket, engage the two metal retaining clips to the mounting bracket on the windshield, connect the electrical cover and then secure the rain sensor module trim cover.

Q: How to service the Windshield Outside Moisture Sensor Lens?
A:
You should remove the rain sensor module from the windshield bracket, hold the moisture sensor in the left-right hand, release the 3 clips securing the lens to the sensor, discard the old moisture sensor lens, remove the old conductive jell residue from the windshield moisture sensor lens with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl, align and secure the two sensor halves back as one unit, remove the plastic protective covering from the lens, place and install the moisture sensor back onto the windshield bracket, connect the electrical cover and then secure the rain sensor module trim cover.
