You should remove the tire and wheel assemblies, prepare the brake bleeding equipment and the vehicle for a pressure bleed of the base hydraulic brake system, install a scan tool, perform the automated bleed procedure as instructed by the scan tool, press and hold the brake pedal to inspect for pedal firmness, repeat the bleed procedure completely, remove the scan tool, install the tire and wheel assemblies and then adjust the brake fluid level.

Q: How to bleed the Antilock Brake System (ABS)?
A:
You should install a scan tool to the vehicle, start the engine and allow the engine to idle, remove the scan tool from the vehicle, fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-fill level, bleed the hydraulic brake system, depress and release the brake pedal, repeat the automated bleeding procedure, not allow the vehicle to be driven until it is diagnosed and repaired, drive the vehicle to exceed 13 km/h (8 mph) to allow ABS initialization to occur and then repeat the automated bleeding procedure until a firm brake pedal is obtained.

A:
You should fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-fill level, install a proper box-end wrench, install a transparent hose, install a transparent hose over the end of the bleeder valve, install a transparent hose over the end of the bleeder valve, install a proper box-end wrench, install a transparent hose over the end of the bleeder valve, install a transparent hose over the end of the bleeder valve and remove the J-35589-A-Brake Pressure Bleeder Adapter from the brake master cylinder reservoir.
