2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Shift Interlock Solenoid

The procedure is to disable the SIR system, remove the knee bolster, put the shift lever clevis into the neutral position, disconnect the electrical connector, pry the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator away from the steering column jacket and the cable shift cam and remove the shift lock control actuator.

You can install the shift lock control actuator, connect the electrical connector, adjust the shift lock control actuator (with the shift lever clevis in the neutral position), inspect the shift lock control actuator, install the knee bolster, and enable the SIR system.
