Q: What is the removal procedure for the engine control module?
A:
The procedure is to retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil, disconnect the negative battery cable, disengage the engine wiring harness upper electrical connector retainer, remove the connector from the ECM, disengage the engine wiring harness lower electrical connector retainer, remove the connector from the ECM, disengage the retainer tabs and remove the ECM.

Q: How do you install the engine control module?
A:
You can install the bottom ECM tabs, push the ECM in securing the ECM to the bracket, position the engine wiring harness lower electrical connector, engage the retainer securing the lower connector to the ECM, position the engine wiring harness upper electrical connector, engage the retainer securing the upper connector to the ECM, connect the negative battery cable and program the ECM.
