You can compress the park brake cable spring, insert the park brake cable fitting end to the park brake, install the brake shoe return spring, install the primary brake shoe return spring, position the primary brake shoe to the rear brake backing plate, install the lower brake shoe spring, the brake shoe hold down springs and cups, clean and lubricate the threads of the brake shoe adjuster, assemble the brake shoe adjuster and install the brake shoe adjuster, the adjuster actuator lever, the brake shoe adjuster actuator lever spring and the brake drum.

You can remove the brake drum, the brake shoe adjuster actuator lever spring, and the adjuster actuator lever, remove the brake shoe adjuster, inspect and replace any missing, worn, or damaged drum brake adjuster hardware, remove the brake shoe hold-down springs and cups, remove the lower brake shoe spring, rotate the primary brake shoe outward, disengage the return spring from the brake shoe web, remove the primary brake shoe, remove the brake shoe return spring, compress the park brake cable spring, disengage the park brake cable fitting end, remove the secondary brake shoe, clean the backing plate, apply high-temperature brake lubricant to the brake shoe contact surfaces of the rear brake backing plate and inspect and replace any missing, worn, or damaged drum brake hardware.
