Q: What is the removal procedure for the Battery Current Sensor (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L)?
A:
The procedure is to remove the negative battery cable, mark the location of the battery current sensor on the battery cable with tape, remove the tape securing the battery current sensor to the negative battery cable, mark the location of the negative battery cable clips, remove the clips from the cable, squeeze the negative battery cable branches together and slide the battery current sensor off of the negative battery cable.

Q: How do you install the Battery Current Sensor (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L)?
A:
You can squeeze the negative battery cable branches together, slide the new battery current sensor up to the location previously marked, wrap electrical tape around the battery current sensor leg, install the negative battery cable clips and install the negative battery cable.
