Q: How do you replace the Battery Positive Cable (12V Battery to Auxiliary BEC)?
A:
You can disconnect the negative battery cable, reposition the positive battery cable insulating cover, rotate the lever lock counterclockwise, remove the positive battery cable terminal, the auxiliary bussed electrical center (BEC) cover, and the underhood junction block cover, lift the junction block retainers from the locked position, rotate the retainers to the open position, remove the junction block, remove the positive battery cable nut from the mega fuse stud and the auxiliary BEC stud, disconnect the positive battery cable connector and remove the positive battery cable assembly.

A:
You can install the negative battery cable assembly, route the cable under the positive battery cable, raise the vehicle, position the negative battery cable lead behind the engine wiring harness ground lead, place the engine wiring harness ground lead and the negative battery cable lead to the frame, insert the anti-rotation tab on the engine harness ground lead into the hole in the frame, install the engine wiring harness ground lead to the frame bolt, lower the vehicle, position the engine wiring harness ground lead behind the negative battery cable lead, place the negative battery cable lead and the engine wiring harness ground lead against the engine block boss, install the negative battery cable ground terminal, install the negative battery cable clip, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector and connect the negative battery cable.

You can disconnect the negative battery cable and the engine wiring harness electrical connector, remove the negative battery cable clip, remove the negative battery cable ground terminal bolt, remove the negative battery cable and the engine wiring harness ground leads, raise the vehicle, remove the engine wiring harness ground lead bolt, remove the engine wiring harness ground lead and the negative battery cable lead, lower the vehicle and remove the negative battery cable assembly.
