Q: How should you properly adjust the A/T shift lock control actuator, when the shift lever clevis is in the neutral position?
A:
First, pull out the tab on the adjuster block side of the A/T shift lock control actuator. Second, press on the adjuster block to compress the internal adjuster spring which disengages the adjuster teeth. Slide the adjuster block as far away from the actuator as possible. Lastly, lock the adjuster block in place by pushing in on the tab.
