2009 Chevrolet Equinox CV Joint

Remove the wheel drive shaft and the outer CV joint and boot. Next, remove the outer/inner boot clamp from the CV joint. Finally, remove the CV joint boot from the CV joint and the wheel drive.

First, install the CV joint boot and clamp on the wheel drive shaft and the CV joint housing. Next, install the CV joint boot and clamp to the CV joint housing. Install the outer CV joint/boot and the wheel drive shaft.

First position the boot on the wheel drive shaft. Place half the lubricant inside the CV joint boot and the other half in the CV joint. Next, install the CV joint on the wheel drive shaft. Install the boot clamp on the boot, the wheel drive shaft, and the CV joint housing. Finally, install the wheel drive shaft in the vehicle.

First, position the boot on the wheel drive shaft, and install the retaining ring and the tripod assembly/housing to the wheel drive shaft. Next, install the boot clamp on the boot for the tripod housing and the wheel drive. Finally, install the wheel drive shaft from the vehicle.

First, position the boot and the clamp on the wheel drive shaft and install the retaining ring on the wheel drive shaft. Close the boot clamp until the gap measures 2.15 mm and compress the retaining ring into the wheel drive shaft. Finally, install the wheel drive shaft.
