2009 Chevrolet Aveo Water Pump

First, drain the coolant, remove the rear timing belt cover, and remove the coolant pump mounting bolts. Next, remove the coolant pump, and remove the seal ring from the coolant pump.

First, install a new seal ring to the coolant pump, and install the coolant pump to the engine block with the flange aligned with the recess of the rear timing belt cover. Make sure to install the coolant pump mounting bolts and tighten them to 10 Nm. Finally, install the rear timing belt cover, and fill the engine cooling system.

First, install a new ring seal on the water pump, and install the water pump on the engine front cover. Once installed, tighten the water pump retaining bolts to 10 Nm. Next, install the water pump pulley, install the engine mount, and install the accessory belt. Next, connect the A/C pipe retainer, install the RH headlamp assembly, and finally install the air cleaner assembly.

First, remove the RH headlamp assembly, disconnect the A/C pipe retainer, and remove the water pump pulley retaining bolts. Next, remove the accessory belt, remove the engine mount, and fix the engine using EN-48356. After that remove the water pump pulley, remove the water pump retaining bolts, and remove the water pump. Finally, remove the ring seal from the water pump, and inspect the water pump for any damage.
