Start by installing the rack and pinion assembly, and tighten the steering gear retaining bracket nuts to 50 Nm. Next, install the cross member, and tighten the nuts and bolts of the cross member to the underbody to 150 Nm. After that connect the steering gear inlet/outlet pipe fittings, and tighten the nuts of the steering gear inlet/outlet pipe fittings to 22 Nm. After that refill the power steering fluid, and install the intermediate shaft.

Next, install the ball joint hex and connect the stabilizer shaft to the knuckle. Tighten the bolts of the stabilizer shaft to the knuckle to 45 Nm. Finally install the front tires, the intermediate shaft, and the steering wheel.
