A:
You can position the block tooth on the upper steering shaft to the 12 o'clock position, install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil washer, align and install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil with the turn signal switch cancel cam, remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil centering tab, install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil retaining ring, connect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil electrical harness, install the steering column trim covers, install the knee bolster and enable the SIR system.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the steering wheel inflatable restraint module coil?
A:
The procedure is to disable the SIR system, remove the knee bolster and the steering column trim covers, disconnect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil electrical connectors and the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil electrical harness and remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil retaining ring, the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil, and the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil washer.

Q: What should you do if there is no centering window on the front side of the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil and no spring service lock on the back side?
A:
You should hold the coil face-up, rotate the coil hub in the direction of the arrow, rotate the coil hub counterclockwise for 2 1/2 revolutions, align the coil hub with the turn signal switch cancel cam and slide it onto the upper steering shaft.
