A:
To remove the lower intake manifold you can remove the upper intake manifold, and the generator brace, and remove the EGR outlet pipe as well as the lower intake manifold.

The proper way is to install the upper intake manifold using the bolts and studs, the fuel rail and EGR valve, and install the fuel injector.
