Q: How do you replace the Driver Seat Cushion Heater and Passenger Seat Cushion Heater?
A:
You can remove the front seat, use a flat-bladed tool, push the retainer clip downward, pull outward to release the lever, pull rearward to disengage the cover from the seat riser, disengage the j-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame, remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly, disconnect the heater element and peel away from the cushion to remove and re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed.

Q: How do you replace the Driver Seat Back Cushion Heater and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Heater?
A:
You can remove the front seat, use a flat-bladed tool, push the retainer clip downward, pull outward to release the lever, use a nylon flat-bladed tool to push the tabs in on the side of the panel to release from the seat back to remove, depress the button on the inboard head restraint guide to raise the head restraint to the full up position, insert a small diameter tool into the hole on the inboard side of the outboard head restraint guide, pull upward to remove and squeeze the bottom of the guide together and push up to remove the seat back.

You should use a scan tool to observe the appropriate Heated Seat Switch parameter when the engine is running, and verify that the heated seat switch parameter changes from Active to Inactive when the switch is pressed and released. you should display the Rear Heated Seat Module Data list and verify that the heated temperature level changes from Off, to High, to Low as the heated seat switch is cycled through these states. you should verify that the rear heated seat modes are being displayed correctly by the rear HVAC/RSA module.
