Q: How do you remove the Engine Control Module?
A:
You can disconnect the negative battery cable, disengage the engine wiring harness upper electrical connector retainer, disengage the engine wiring harness lower electrical connector retainer, disengage the retainer tabs securing the ECM to the bracket, and remove the ECM.

The flat wire within the flex wiring harness is not serviceable. If an open or short exists within the flex wiring harness, the complete harness must be replaced.
