First, you should remove the tire and wheel assembly, the rear brake hose, and the brake line retaining bolt. Next, the copper gaskets should be removed and discarded.

First, you should release the brake pipe, measure the length of the pipe to be replaced, remove the sectioned brake pipe, install the tube nuts on the brake pipe, and clean the brake pipe. Next, you should install the die halves, remove the unused die, and insert the finishing cone into the forming ram. Finally, you should install the pipe, bleed the hydraulic brake system, and inspect the brake pipe flares for leaks.

First, you should install the new copper gaskets and the rear brake hose. Next, you should remove the rubber plug and/or cap, install the brake pipe, and bleed the hydraulic brake system. Finally, the tire and wheel assembly should also be installed.

You should maintain a clearance of 19 mm (3/4 in) from all moving or vibrating components.

The recommended torque is 20 N.m (18 LB-FT).
