The removal procedure is to remove the oil pan and the gasket, remove the filter, remove the lip ring seal pressed into the case only if replacement is necessary, inspect the oil pan and the filter for metal particles, clutch facing material, rubber particles, and engine coolant, determine the source of the contamination if foreign material is evident, correct the source of the contamination.
Q: What's the recommended torque for the TOC hose retainer and the bolt?
A:
The recommended torque is 25 N.m (18 lb-ft).
Q: What should be noticed when removing the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler?
A:
You will need to allow sufficient clearance around the transaxle oil cooler pipes and the hoses to prevent damage or wear which may cause fluid loss.
