Q: What's the proper way to install the metal collar quick connect fitting?
A:
The proper way is to apply a few drops of clean engine oil to the male pipe end, push both sides of the fitting together to snap the retaining tabs into place, and pull on both sides of the fitting to make sure the connection is secure once installed, then install the retainer to the fuel feed quick-connect fitting.
