The installation procedure is to install the PCV foul air tube, connect the PCV foul air tube to the PCV valve, install the PCV fresh air tube and connect the PCV fresh air tube to the air cleaner outlet duct, then install the intake manifold cover.
Q: What should be done before disconnecting the AIR feed tube quick connect fitting from the pump?
A:
You will need to disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump hose quick-connect the fitting from the pump and remove the hose, then raise and suitably support the vehicle.
Q: What's the recommended torque for the AIR shutoff/check valve bolts?
A:
The recommended torque is 50 N.m (37 lb-ft).
