2008 Chevrolet Corvette Clutch Slave Cylinder

You can disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the left instrument panel (I/P) lower insulator panel, remove the Clutch Master Cylinder rod retainer, remove the clutch master cylinder rod, remove the windshield washer solvent container, raise and support the vehicle, remove the clutch actuator cylinder hose from the hose retaining clip, remove the clutch actuator cylinder hose from the hose retaining clip, remove the clutch hose connection retaining clip, separate the clutch hose from the clutch master cylinder connection, protect both hose coupling ends from dirt and damage, remove the clutch master cylinder reservoir and then remove the clutch master cylinder.

You can remove the driveline support assembly and the transaxle from the vehicle, remove the Clutch Release Bearing, and then rotate the bearing in either direction. The compression spring load will push the release bearing off the end of the clutch actuator cylinder.

You will need a bushing installer and clutch arbor and a clutch pilot bearing remover.
