You can remove the engine assembly, the crankshaft balancer, the oil level indicator tube, the left and right exhaust manifolds, the water pump, the water pump, the intake manifold, the engine valley cover, the coolant air bleed pipe, the left and right valve rocker arm covers, the valve rocker arms and push rods, the left and right cylinder heads, the valve lifters and the oil pan-to-front cover bolts. Then you can remove the front cover bolts, remove the front cover and gasket, rotate the engine to align the timing marks, remove the camshaft sprocket bolts, remove the timing chain from the camshaft sprocket, and allow the timing chain to rest on the crankshaft sprocket and then remove the camshaft.
