A:
The procedure is to apply the parking brake, place the transmission in the park position for automatic transmission or neutral for manual transmission, install a scan tool, turn on the ignition, with the engine off, navigate to the vehicle control systems menu, select computer/integrating systems menu item, select module setup menu item, select body control module (BCM) menu and then select the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) sensor calibration and follow the directions displayed on the screen.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the brake pedal position sensor?
A:
The procedure is to remove the instrument panel (I/P) insulator, disengage but do not remove the connector position assurance (CPA) on the connector, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the screw and then remove the brake pedal position sensor.

The procedure is to place the sensor fork to the pin, rotate the sensor to align the sensor locator to the hole in the extension bracket, install the brake pedal position sensor screw, connect the electrical connector and then install the I/P insulator.
