Q: What is the removal procedure for the body control module?
A:
The procedure is to turn off the ignition switch, remove the kick-up panel at the right front floor, remove 3 retaining screws that secure the Body Control Module (BCM) to the multiuse bracket, disconnect the harness connectors from the BCM and then remove the BCM from the vehicle.
Q: Where is the hazard lamp flasher integrated?
A:
The hazard lamp flasher is integrated into the hazard warning switch.
Q: What is the calibration procedure for the brake pedal position sensor?
A:
The procedure is to apply the parking brake, place the transmission in the park position for automatic transmission or neutral for manual transmission, install a scan tool, turn on the ignition, with the engine off, navigate to the vehicle control systems menu, select computer/integrating systems menu item, select module setup menu item, select body control module (BCM) menu and then select the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) sensor calibration and follow the directions displayed on the screen.
