Drain the coolant. Reposition the outlet Radiator Hose clamp away from the thermostat housing. Remove the outlet radiator hose from the thermostat. Raise the vehicle. Reposition the outlet radiator hose clamp away from the radiator. Remove the outlet radiator hose from the radiator.
Q: How do you install the Coolant Recovery Reservoir?
A:
Install the coolant recovery reservoir. Install the retaining bolt to the front wheelhouse panel. Install the radiator vent hose to the coolant recovery reservoir. Install the bolt securing the coolant recovery reservoir to the coolant recovery reservoir bracket. Install the overflow hose to the coolant recovery reservoir. Install the air cleaner assembly. Fill the cooling system.
