Q: How do you install the Parking Brake Rear Cable?
A:
Install the park cable in the backing plate. Install the rear brake shoes. Install the park brake cable to the rear spring retaining bracket. Install the retaining nut to the park brake cable. Install the park brake cable retaining bolts to the right rear frame rail. Install the park brake cable to the crossmember. On long-wheelbase vehicles, install the park brake cable to the left frame rail. Install the park brake cable retaining bolts. On short-wheel base vehicles, install the park brake cable to the left frame rail. Install the park brake cable retaining bolt. Install the park brake cable to the equalizer. Install the front park brake cable to the equalizer. Loosely install the adjuster nut. Adjust the park brakes. Lower the vehicle.
