Lubricate the NEW fuel injector O-ring seals. Install the NEW fuel injector O-ring seals onto the fuel injector. Install a NEW retainer clip (1) to the fuel injector. Push the fuel injector into the rail socket with the electrical connector end facing outward.5.Connect the fuel injector harness connector to the fuel injector. Install the fuel rail assembly.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Fuel Injector?
A:
Remove the fuel rail assembly. Disconnect the fuel injector harness connector from the fuel injector. Remove and discard the fuel injector retainer clip. Remove the fuel injector from the fuel rail. Remove and discard the fuel injector O-ring seals from the injector.

Verify that the lower (small) O-ring of each injector does not remain in the lower manifold to reduce the risk of fire and personal injury.
