Open the tailgate. Remove the screws from the tail lamp assembly. Remove the lamp assembly. Remove the tail lamp and backup lamp sockets. Remove the bulbs from the backup lamp sockets.

A:
Install and tighten the backup lamp switch to 44 N.m (32 LB-FT), and secure the pigtail to the transmission with the tie strap. Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector at the pigtail. Lower the vehicle.

A:
Install the bulbs to the backup lamp sockets. Install the backup lamp rotating clockwise. Press the tail lamp on the rear body panel. Install and tighten the tail lamp screws to 3 N.m (26 LB IN). Close the tailgate.
