2008 Cadillac XLR Timing Chain

You should remove the oil pump, the crankshaft sprocket to oil pump drive friction washer, the secondary camshaft drive chains, the primary drive chain tensioner, the oil outlet tube, the primary camshaft drive chain guide bolts and guide, the camshaft intermediate sprocket retaining bolt, the primary camshaft drive chain, the crankshaft sprocket, the camshaft intermediate sprocket, and the crankshaft to crankshaft sprocket friction washer.

You should remove the right secondary timing chain and the left camshaft position actuator housing, install the EN 46328 on the bank 2 (left) camshafts and remove the left secondary timing chain from the engine.

You should install the crankshaft to crankshaft sprocket friction washer, the primary camshaft drive chain on the drive sprockets, the primary camshaft drive chain, the crankshaft sprocket, the camshaft intermediate sprocket, the camshaft intermediate sprocket retaining bolt, the primary drive chain guide, the primary drive chain guide bolts, the primary drive chain tensioner, the oil outlet tube, and bolts, and the secondary camshaft drive chains, remove the pin from the primary timing chain tensioner release lever, and install the crankshaft sprocket to the oil pump drive friction washer, the oil pump.

The recommended torque is 120 N.m (89 lb-ft).

You should install the oil control valve to secure the intake actuator, the left secondary timing chain tensioner, and the right secondary timing chain, remove the EN 46328 and install the left camshaft position actuator housing.
