Q: How to remove the Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe?
A:
You should drain the cooling system, remove the radiator support, disengage tension and reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp at the surge tank using the J 38185, disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank, disengage tension and reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp at the throttle body assembly using the J 38185, disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the throttle body assembly, disengage tension and reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp at the radiator using the J 38185, disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the radiator and remove the surge tank inlet hose assembly from the vehicle.

Q: How to install the Radiator Surge Tank?
A:
You should install the surge tank, the upper surge tank nut, and the protective cap on the surge tank upper stud, connect the coolant level sensor electrical connector, connect the surge tank outlet hose to the surge tank, engage tension on the surge tank outlet hose clamp, connect the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank, engage tension on the surge tank inlet hose clamp and fill the cooling system.
