The procedure is to disable the SIR system, remove the steering column trim covers, remove the steering column wiring harness tie straps, disconnect the electrical connectors from the windshield and washer switch, depress the locking tab on the windshield wiper and washer switch, and remove the switch from the steering column.

The procedure is to install the windshield wiper and washer switch to the steering column, connect the electrical connectors on the windshield wiper and washer switch, route and connect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper and washer switch, install the wiring harness tie straps, install the steering column trim covers, enable the SIR system.
