The procedure is to install the power steering reservoir to the vehicle, install the power steering reservoir retaining bolts, connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir, connect the power steering cooler hose to the power steering reservoir, remove the drain pan from under the vehicle, bleed the power steering system, install the front air deflector, install the fuel injector sight shield.

The procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield, remove the front air deflector, place a drain pan under the vehicle, disconnect the power steering cooler hose from the power steering reservoir, disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering reservoir, remove the power steering reservoir retaining bolts, remove the power steering reservoir from the vehicle.

Q: How to bleed Power Steering System?
A:
The procedure is to fill the pump reservoir with fluid to the minimum system level or middle of the hash mark on the cap stick fluid level indicator, fully charge the hydro-boost accumulator, raise the vehicle until the front wheels are off the ground, key on engine off, turn the steering wheel from stop to stop 12 times, verify power steering fluid level per operating specification, start the engine, rotate steering wheel from left to right, check for sign of cavitation or fluid aeration (pump noise/whining), verify the fluid level, repeat the bleed procedure, if necessary.
