Q: What do we need to note when we remove the Lower O-Ring?
A:
You should verify that the lower (small) O-ring of each injector does not remain in the lower manifold to reduce the risk of fire and personal injury and if the O-ring is not removed with the injector, the replacement injector with new O-rings will not seat properly in the injector socket. Improper seating could cause a fuel leak.

Q: How to remove the Fuel Injector and Fuel Rail?
A:
You should relieve the fuel system pressure, remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold and the fuel pipe retaining clip, disconnect the fuel feed pipe from the fuel injector rail, and use compressed air to remove debris from the area where the fuel injectors enter the intake manifold, remove the fuel rail bolts and the fuel rail with the fuel injectors, disengage the fuel injector electrical connector lock, disconnect the fuel injector electrical connector and remove the fuel injector retainer clip, the fuel injector, and the fuel injector seals.
