2008 Cadillac SRX Door Latch Assembly

You should raise the window to the full up position, remove the door trim panel and the water deflector, disconnect the lock cylinder rod from the door latch and the outside door handle rod from the door latch by opening the clip, remove the lock knob rod from the rod guide, the inside handle rod from the rod guide, the door latch screws and the door latch from the door with the inside door handle rod and lock rod attached, use a small flat-bladed tool to lift the electrical connector lock, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the handle rod and lock rod from the door latch.

You should remove the door trim panel, the inside door handle, and the water deflector, disconnect the outside door handle rod from the door latch by opening the clip on the door latch, disengage the inside handle rod from the rod guide, push the inside lock rod grommet through the opening, remove the door latch screws and the door latch with the inside door handle rod and lock rod attached, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the handle rod and lock rod from the door latch.
