You should remove the bezel by carefully inserting a small flat-bladed tool between the bezel and the Shift Knob, apply careful downward pressure to the bezel to separate the bezel from the shift knob, install the bezel by lifting the bezel up to the shift knob until a click sound is heard indicating the bezel is secured to the shift knob and loosen the shift control knob screw approximately 3-4 turns.
