Q: How to remove the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve?
A:
You should turn off the ignition, thoroughly clean all contaminants from around the EBCM, remove the 2 master cylinder brake pipes from the BPMV, clean any brake fluid spillage from the BPMV, raise and support the vehicle, remove the air deflector shield, the wheelhouse liner, the washer solvent container bracket and the 4 wheel brake pipes from the BPMV, press the retainer on the EBCM electrical connector, rotate the EBCM connector tab forward to the unlocked position, disconnect the EBCM electrical connector from the EBCM and position out of the way and remove the front BPMV bracket nuts, the EBCM/BPMV assembly from the BPMV bracket, the 4 EBCM to BPMV screws and the EBCM from the BPMV.
