The removal procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield, disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe quick connect fitting from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, then remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve bolt and the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve.

The removal procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield, if necessary, disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve, remove the EGR bracket shield nuts, the EGR bracket shield, the EGR Valve bolts, and the EGR valve, then remove and discard the EGR valve gasket, next clean the EGR valve mounting surface.
Q: What's the installation procedure for the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid valve?
A:
The installation procedure is to install the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve, then rotate the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve clockwise until the solenoid valve comes to a stop in the retainer, and finally install the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister.
Q: How to install the secondary air injection pump?
A:
You may need to align and install the AIR pump integral nuts to the holes in the cradle bracket and push the pump down, then tighten the AIR pump nuts, and install the AIR pump bolt, next connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick-connect fitting to the AIR pump, connect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting to the AIR pump, connect the engine harness electrical connector to the AIR pump, finally install the front air deflector.
