Q: How to remove the engine oil and oil filter?
A:
You will need to raise and support the vehicle, position the oil drain pan under the engine oil drain plug, remove the engine oil drain plug, clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug and replace it if necessary, then clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug sealing surface on the oil pan, repair or replace oil pan if necessary, next remove the Oil Filter and clean and inspect the oil filter sealing area on the oil filter adapter, repair or replace if necessary.
Q: How to remove the Oil Pan?
A:
You will need to drain the engine oil, remove the front exhaust manifold pipe, disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the oil level sensor, loosen the Oil Pan bolts, remove the oil pan and discard the oil pan gasket, then clean and inspect the oil pan, if necessary.
Q: What's the removal procedure for the oil level indicator tube?
A:
The removal procedure is to remove the front engine mount bracket, remove the oil level indicator, loosen the oil level indicator tube nut and remove the oil level indicator tube.
