A:
You will need to remove the strut from the vehicle, then install the strut in the J 45400, turn the spring compressor forcing screw until the coil spring is compressed, use a 45 TORX(R) socket to hold the strut shaft and use the J-35669 to remove the upper strut mount nut, then remove the strut from the J 45400, loosen the compressor forcing screw until the upper strut mount and coil spring may be removed, finally remove the upper strut mount and the coil spring from the J 45400.
