Q: How can I know if the VDAAW system is in calibration mode?
A:
When the VDAAW system is in calibration mode, the amber light in the IPC will remain illuminated. When the calibration is complete, the amber indicator will turn green, indicating the system is ready to assist. If the VDAAW system is disabled with the VDAAW switch, the amber light will turn off. The system will still run the calibration procedure in the background. Immediately after the self-calibration procedure, there may be a delay in lane-crossing alerts. The VDAAW system will run further calibration tests as the vehicle is driven to improve performance.
