You will need to cap or tape the open A/C refrigerant components immediately to prevent system contamination.

The removal procedure is to disassemble the A/C refrigerant components, remove the O-ring seals from the A/C refrigerant component, inspect the O-ring seals for signs of damage and inspect the A/C refrigerant components for damage or burrs, then cap or tape the A/C refrigerant components and discard the O-ring seals.

The removal procedure is to remove the seal washer from the A/C refrigerant component, inspect the seal washer for signs of damage to help determine the root cause of the failure, inspect the A/C refrigerant components for damage or burrs and repair if necessary, and finally discard the sealing washer.

The installation procedure is to inspect the new O-ring seals for any signs or cracks, cuts, or damage and replace them if necessary, next remove the cap or tape from the A/C refrigerant components, then carefully clean the sealing surfaces of the A/C refrigerant components, lightly coat the new O-ring seals with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil, carefully slide the new O-ring seals onto the A/C refrigerant component, and seat the O-ring seals fully, finally assemble the A/C components.

You mustn't reuse the sealing washer.
